Welcome to SHINE at AGRIbusiness!
Descended from multiple generations of Australian farmers hailing back to pioneering days, Dianna Jacobsen grew up on a mixed farm in southern NSW, and has spent over 35 years working with rural families and businesses. She now lives on her cattle property in NE Victoria, and operates her professional business from Wodonga, spending much of her time traversing rural Australia to work with farm owners in shaping their future success.
Dianna’s passion for the industry is apparent in her mission statement: Keeping Australian farms in family hands and keeping Australian families on their farms.
Under her SHINE at Business banner, Dianna specialises in all aspects of accounting and business management for rural businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Combining a background in accounting, financial planning, small business management, and personal empowerment coaching, Dianna works with families Australia-wide to preserve livelihoods and legacies through workable farm succession and strategic plans, customised to meet each family’s personal circumstances.
Under her SHINE at Leadership Academy umbrella, Dianna launched SHINE at Leadership in 2020, a course introduced to generate funds to assist farming families amidst prolonged drought, and since, with funding medical, educational, and personal needs.
In 2022, after a presenting at an international conference in the UK, Dianna was invited to publish a White Paper for the purpose of teaching agri-business globally.
Most recently, using that White Paper as the foundation, and seeing a widespread need for tailored business & financial management education for farm owners and managers, Dianna has designed the SHINE at AGRIbusiness course.
